How I work
Choosing who treats your face matters, so here is how I keep you safe: my training, my insurance, the products I use and what happens if something does not go to plan.
Training
I trained as an aesthetic practitioner in 2022, and I am currently completing the Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetics Practice, awarded by ProQual.
Level 7 sits at the same level as a master’s degree on the UK qualifications framework.
Insurance
I am fully insured for every treatment I offer. Insurance matters because it means there is cover in place if a treatment ever leads to a claim.
Which products do I use?
I only use products bought from reputable UK pharmacies and approved for use in the UK. The name and batch number of what I use on you go into your treatment notes, and you are welcome to ask what they are. Products from regulated suppliers can be traced, so if there were ever a problem with a batch, it could be tracked back.
Consultation and consent
Before any treatment, we go through your medical history together and you sign a consent form. If I think a treatment is not right for you, I will tell you, and explain why. Anti-wrinkle injections always start with a face-to-face assessment before your treatment day.
First aid and complications
Being ready for the unexpected is part of the job. I am trained in first aid and in managing complications.
After any treatment you have my number, and you can message me on WhatsApp if something does not feel right. If you ever want to raise a concern formally, my complaints page explains how.
